From molecules
to crops.
My academic path is driven by a multi-scale approach to plant science: understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms that shape plant responses, while also observing and analysing these responses at the whole-plant level through experimentation.
From molecular and cellular biology to agronomy, plant experimentation and biotechnology, I have progressively learned to connect biological mechanisms with measurable plant responses and experimental data. I now aim to deepen this approach through research, with a particular interest in plant–environment interactions and the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying plant adaptation to drought stress.

I developed a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology, exploring the mechanisms that govern living organisms at their most fundamental scale.
This first approach taught me to look inside the organism: from cells to the biological processes underlying their function.
From the plant to the cropping system

This year introduced me to a more applied approach to plant science, combining agronomy, experimentation and R&D project management.
Through a year-long innovation project, I learned how to structure and lead an R&D project, from defining objectives and coordinating its development to designing an experimental approach.
My internship in plant experimentation further strengthened this perspective, teaching me how to analyse experimental data and evaluate plant responses, notably through the assessment of a biostimulant on grapevine and blueberry plants.

This Master’s degree will provide research training through hands-on research projects, allowing me to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in plant molecular biology and biotechnology.
My goal is to acquire the scientific and experimental skills needed to study plant-environment interactions, with a particular interest in understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying plant adaptation to drought stress.
By connecting molecular mechanisms with plant responses to environmental constraints, I aim to build a research-oriented perspective that bridges my background in molecular biology and agronomy.

Selected by the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ) to take part in the 15th edition of the Montreal Urban Agriculture Summer School.
Through conferences, workshops and field visits, this international experience provided an opportunity to explore urban agriculture and food systems, discover initiatives developed across Montréal, and exchange with researchers, professionals and practitioners.
